So I’ve heard a lot of talk on talkbass about Sadowsky Basses and, I don’t quite understand the hype, I’ve picked up quite a few Sadowsky Basses, mainly Metros, and they just seemed ok at best. Could someone explain why Sadowskys are talked about and regarded so highly on talkbass?

The neck is about as svelte as a baseball bat and the 100% genuine ebonized fingerboard is pitiful. The finish flakes off for no apparant reason and the end pin is so poor it feels like the thing is mounted on a swivel. He has been told that to get this thing in decent shape would require $6-700 minimum.

You can go with a bi-amp system, use a 410 for the upper frequencies, and use a powered 15" sub woofer. Get an amp with an adjustable crossover then you can split the load, keep the very low freqs out of the smaller speakers (410), and push the 15" crossed somewhere from 100z, depends on the cab's roll-off and the sub's roll-on.The inherent tone of the Katana Bass 210 kind of reminded me of the baked-in character of a Sansamp set fairly clean.
