Hi, people. I'm on this mission after doing the super satisfactory Beatty side missions. I know I have one blacktail deer southeast of the rope bridge in a sleep zone surounded by a lot of trees and bushes (very difficult to make a 200m shot there).

Although, after it spawns, you can leave the tower to hunt it down. The elk spawns 150 meters to the North East. It is a level 5 elk. Not sure if this is still working but there was a trick to get mission animals and ducks to respawn on lakes. It involves going to your lodge (but don't enter). Then go back to your map.
