Jun 11, 2018 · Now the deck drive belt never slips off. This fix is for the timed deck on earlier LTX 1040 mowers. Later mowers used a staggered deck and this fix may not work on them. Another option would be to simply use the OEM belt and slot rear pulley mounting hole so it can be moved farther away from the PTO pulley.
