Blew out the front main seal, lost all its fluid. i cant say what cold weather results i will have but i put 2 napa 9835m marine AGM batteries in mine. 750 cca at zero degrees. i do short trips across town, so have the 3g alternator upgrade.

I'd guess that the harness at the tank selector is what you'd need to rewire. Determine which pair of wires goes to the sender for the tank that you are going to keep and wire those directly to the sender in that tank. In the cab you could eliminate the selector switch in the same way.
