Thanks guys! You can just make a multi-category schedule, with Level as a parameter. Select all objects associated with a given level and pick Highlight in Model to have them all as part of your current selection set. I just wrote a dynamo script about this yesterday. Basically just a glorified filter but selects all elements on a given level.
