Lived in Charleston from '74 - '89, then moved here. Geographically they are very similar, and the amenity package is very close to the same. The big difference is Charleston has already got the same problems Wilmington is headed toward. Wilmington is just 10-15 years behind. It's the same movie I saw when I moved to Charleston in '75.
