Is tradovate good.

Tradovate and TS have pros and cons. TradeStation software is much more powerful. Their desktop app only runs on Windows though. Their mobile app is good although wouldn't really ever want to be trading on a phone. Commission is higher and futures margins are significantly higher.Customer service is fantastic. I can't say enough good things about Andrew and Baastian. Tradovate continues to enhance the platform. The ability to login from multiple devices, both PC and Mac, and see the same screen and settings makes for a seamless trading experience. Very impressive. I use Sierra Chart and Stage 5 now, it’s cheaper with same style membership and you do not get problems. If you don’t mind learning a new software that takes a while, it is way better. Candles do not lag at all, ever.I might switch to TradeStation if the fills are decent. Ninjatrader is also down right now - they had acquired Tradovate, and seem to be using their systems on it. So you can switch, you'll get the same problems. edit: you can look up their service status page, it'll basically match Tradovate's.Tradovate will lag during busy crazy events, so buyer beware. If you avoid those you should be fine. If you want to go deep down the rabbit hole, you can do anything on Sierra Chart and it is way cheaper than Ninja Trader. Be prepared to spend a good amount of time learning/setting up the software to how you like it if you go that route.
