In 1 instance, if I hover the transition box (I'm using "Brightness flash") over the clip, I don't even get the white containing box to show where the transition will sit. I figureed something out by pure luck. I guess the problem is that the clip you are transitioning in got stabilized. The stabilization unfortunately is not for the whole clip (the hidden extra frames needed for the transition). So I just added some frames to the beginning. Hit the stabilization button. Toolbox.
