My belief being that the barrel is the heart and core, and a headspaced good bolt, of a well-performing rifle.Without a magazine, but scope and bipod mounted, it comes to 13.7lbs. If you already have a few good AR15s I'd go for the Jakl especially if you plan on shooting it suppressed, the long stroke piston and the adjustable gas do well with a suppressor.
