You should still kill all megs because they drop loot and raise your emissary grade. They usually only take a couple of minutes if you’re hitting your cannons. The shrouded ghost is stupidly rare and you have to kill it if you ever get it. The others are okay to leave but they do drop a bit of loot.The Shrouded Ghost (white meg with pink Fins) is the most rare one. It is said to have a spawnrate of 6 Shrouded Ghosts per day, across all servers of SoT. 1. The "Shrouded Ghost" at this point is a source of tales that players tell to each other like old mariners used to. You can read some of those tales among the answers to your post. I like it that way, no other game but this one could introduce a legend and keep it shrouded in the mystery through all this time.
