If you want a one-shot to familiarize players with the system i would reccomend Pathfinder Society Scenarios or Quests. Quests are shorter and take about 1 hour. Scenarios are longer and can take 4-5 hours. I agree that Fall of Plaguestone and some of the PFS2 scenarios are the easiest way to get your feet wet.
