I'm just seeing this thread for the first time, but I was going to comment that it could either be a failure in the VTM-4 system OR a different failure that has disabled the VTM-4 system causing the light to illuminate. Same symptom here. P0325 trouble code and within a minute or two the VTM-4 light comes on. I replaced the knock sensor yesterday and sure enough the wires from it's connector was chewed. I was glad to see a clear indication of the problem. I put in an OEM sensor (maybe a mistake), ran a new wire then cleared the code.VTM-4 light was on for a day or so, check engine light was on for 3 days or so.
