Service side detection system came up on screen. Dealership repaired for $700 replacing the module and 3 days later, the light returned as did the warning.

Ignition OFF, reconnect the rear window switch and disconnect the harness connector at the rear window motor. Connect a test lamp between the control circuit terminal A and control circuit terminal B. Ignition ON, command the rear window UP and DOWN by using the rear window switch.The repair was only for the driver side sensor and the harness. I am a little concerned that the passenger side sensor will fail this winter and I'll have to repair the sensor and another wire harness. This will be the 4th driver side sensor going in the 2015 Acadia, and the third wiring harness.This sounds more and more like it should be a safety recall due to another GM Engineering design failure.
